Aaliyah is the Founder of ASW Foundation.  She established the foundation when she was a 14 year old, 9th grade student. The ASW Foundation was started in memory of her two brothers who were killed as the result of senseless gun violence. Aaliyah is a resilient young lady who pushed past her pain to turn her tragedy into triumph.

Monday May 17, 2021 at just 20 years old, Aaliyah purchased a building to house the I AM THEM Hope Youth Center. It will be a safe haven for children to have fun while participating in mentoring programs, the arts, financial literacy, entrepreneurship and trades programs.  That was the same day that her brother would have turned 30 years old. Therefore Aaliyah chose to do something purposeful to honor his life and to keep his legacy alive.

Prior to graduating high school early, Aaliyah provided college scholarships for six high school seniors in memory of her two brothers.  She also travels to schools to speak and share the message of hope.  She has inspired more than 30,000 people in person.  She shares a message of hope with more than 10,000 people who follow her social media pages.  She mentors children, provides services to help parents of murdered children and coordinates an annual toy drive to donate an average of 1,500 toys to children in underserved communities.  During the pandemic she delivered book bags and school supplies to children in underserved communities. 

Aaliyah is dedicated to letting the youth know that NO Matter what you may go through in life, or where you may come from, you have POTENTIAL. Her #IAMTHEM Movement is dedicated to encouraging youth to love who they are and to accept the leadership skills that were given to them. Locally, nationally and internationally, Aaliyah Stewart is a World Changer who consistently restore hope for the lost!
